I love Love, and to me, there is no better occasion than one that celebrates Love. ​But if I'm honest, my wedding cake was... not great. My husband and I, high school sweethearts together for over 20 years now, had cancelled our 100+-guest event in favor of an intimate, 12-person destination ceremony. For the most part, this was just right for us. But while I loved my cake toppers, the cake itself was a dry, somewhat freezer-burnt mess that no one ate. So today, as a baker and cake artist, I can't stand the thought of anyone pledging their life together without the most delicious, gorgeous dessert they've ever tasted.

The best thing about wedding cakes in the 21st century is that they can be just about whatever you wish. If you like traditional, white on white piping, excellent! If you want a bright, colorful palette to match the season, wonderful! If you dream of chocolate and toasted marshmallows, fantastic! And if you prefer pies, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, even Rice Krispy Treats, there is no limit to what makes fabulous wedding dessert, especially in the Kitchen. When you and your new spouse take that first bite, let it be your sweetest dream coming true.

All cakes and confections for Weddings are priced using the same formula as our regular celebration cakes, which is to say, to the order. For more details about how prices are calculated, see the Pricing Guidelines page.

Because we are a Cottage Kitchen, we cannot offer traditional tastings the way a storefront bakery might. Why? First, because every single item is baked to order - no cakes or slices sit in the freezer waiting to be pulled out, and of course there is no "what's in the case today" because we don't have one! Second, because recipes can only be broken down so far, and there would be a tremendous amount of waste involved in baking for just a sample. If there is a particular flavor or two you that piques your curiosity, I highly encourage couples to order cupcakes (by the dozen per flavor) or a cake for another occasion to try it out.

We highly encourage taking advantage of our delivery services for wedding cakes, particularly tiered ones. Deliveries are offered throughout Connecticut (and beyond) - let us take care of it!
